SOME [SOUL MEAL] DEVOTIONAL

The people MUST make a SACRED TENT for me, so that I may live among them...Exd. 25:8 There had been times when you are faced with a need to make a decision, and you couldn't; People tell you to listen to your heart. Many at times you are soaked in people's opinion and you are confused about what to do. Some still tell you,  listen to your heart. God told Moses that the people of Israel must make a holy place of dwelling for Him so they can have Him with them 24/7. Today, we don't need to make Him a hand built tent anymore. Our heart is suppose to be that SACRED TENT for the Lord to dwell in so we can have Him at all time. If your heart is what you need to listen to when making decision on anything, and it has been made the sacred tent/dwelling place of the Lord, you should not be having difficulties in making decisions. But if you are still facing difficulties or you are still confused about what to do, it could either means that you are not listening to your heart or it ...

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters........  David's declaration of God being his shepherd means that God is not only taking care of his need, but his want as well to the level of ABUNDANCE. What is your own declaration of your shepherd? I decree and declare that as you make the Lord the shepherd of your life, LACK shall have NO PLACE in your life IJN.

Psalm 11:3 says, if the foundation are destroyed, what can the righteous do?. Beside sin, another factor for closed doors in our lives is defective foundation. Fondation is the origin of something or an act of founding; especially the establishment of an institution with provisions for future maintenance. When foundation is defective, it can cause the heaven to be closed up on us, thereby causing  all doors of great opportunities and blessings to be shut at us. Jabez foundation was defective as a result of the name given to him by his mother. But Jabez called unto the one who is able to reconstruct his foundation; the unchangable changer, the holy God of Israel, the king of kings, deliverer, restorer and rebuilder. He re wrote the script of Jabez's life and Jabez became more honorable than his brothers. The same God that honored Jabez will honor you and take away your garment of shame in Jesus name. Look unto Him and He will deliver you and restore you.

Sometimes during worships, we missed God- not because He wasn't there, but because we weren't REAL. Some of us feel that we have to dress up for church, both physically and spiritually. May be you had made mistakes during the week, and you are thinking that you could not let God see that, so on sunday, you try to cover it up, therefore, putting up a pure and holy face in order to look super spiritual. The song says, come just as you are..... Jesus is waiting with open arms..... Why don't we start keeping it real and stop playing church. Stop hiding, stop faking, be honest, confess your sins and KEEP IT REAL.

Nehemiah said, Go and enjoy some good food and sweet drinks. Send some of it to those who don't have any. This day is set apart to honor our Lord. So don't be sad. The joy of the Lord makes you strong. Nehemiah 8:10. Whatever has been causing you to cry, to be sad or to be in agony. I encourage you to stand tall, strong and rejoice in the day that the Lord has made. Your season of laughter is here. Shalom.

Exd. 20:1-3 Many are very faithful in their services unto God when they really needed Him to re write the script of their lives, when they needed Him to take them from prison to palace, from grass to grace, from pov erty to prosperity, from lack to green pasture and from being jobless to becoming a ceo. But as soon as their prayer is answered, they quickly become too comfortable to serve their deliverer. They make for themselves other gods in place of the Lord of lords, the merciful and faithful God. Some turn their jobs to a god or idol they are worshiping, for some, its their spouse, children, business, sleep, fashion, and all sorts of things. And they will tell you God understands. No He does not; He said in verse 5 that He is a jealous God, tolerate no rivals and punish those who hate me. Search you...

Now Joseph was the governor of the land, the person who sold grain to his people. So when Joseph's brothers arrived, they bowed down to him with their faces to the ground.... Gen. 42:6 Although Joseph recognized his brothers, they did not recognize him. Then he remembered his dreams about them.... Gen 42:8-9. When Joseph had the dream that his brother's sheaves of grain bowed down to his sheaf, h e had no idea what the plans of God were. God revealed to him what was going to take place in the nearest future, which already happened in the spirit realm. Neither Joseph or his brother knew that God had elevated Joseph and placed him in a high position. The famine in their land was part of the plan of God to bring Joseph's dream to fulfillment. Not until his brother bowed down to him that he now realized what the Lord meant by the dream he had.
